Red Bull Ring ADAC F4 Preview
The ADAC Formel 4 Championship will be back in action this weekend in Austria with teams and drivers lining-up at the Red Bull Ring.
The circuit, located in the Stiria region, will welcome the series with Prema currently headlining the driver and the team standings. Championship leader Jüri Vips has been impressive so far. The Estonian showcased great driving skills but was also able to provide positive reactions to challenging situations. Having already scored a podium finish at Red Bull Ring in 2016 as a rookie, he is lining-up to be an outright contender.
Laying seventh in points, Juan Manuel Correa showed great pace too but was hit by adverse fortunes and is looking forward to a well-deserved rebound. The same goes for Ferrari Driver Academy prospect Marcus Armstrong who made it to the podium at Lausitzring to highlight his great potential.
Angelo Rosin - Team Principal
“We are lining-up at Red Bull Ring determined to defend and increase our leadership. Despite the fact that we are on top in points, we haven’t had the best of luck in the first couple of rounds and now we want to show our full capabilities so to step up in a key moment of the championship. Jüri showed great quality and a lot of maturity as he stayed in control and fought hard for his position. On the other hand, Juan and Marcus also made clear that that they belong to the front end of the pack.”
