Lausitzring ADAC F4 Preview
The teams and drivers of the ADAC Formel 4 Championship are set to go back on-track for the second round of the series and Prema is ready to line-up at Lausitzring to defend the championship lead secured in the opening race meeting at Oschersleben.
At the technical Brandebourg venue, famous for its layout which flows in the infield of the spectacular Indy oval, Prema did well last year with two wins in three races and the goal is definitely to do it all again.
Jüri Vips who is currently sitting atop the drivers standings with a win in the opening race of the season, is hoping to carry the good momentum in round 2. The young Estonian will be partnered by team-mates Juan Manuel Correa e Marcus Armstrong. Despite facing tough fortunes in qualifying at Oschersleben, the American posted three top-5 finishes in round 1 while the young Kiwi, supported by the Ferrari Driver Academy, was less lucky as he retired from race 3 after starting from the pole and showcasing great potential.
All the Prema drivers showed the needed skills so far, and they are ready to keep performing
Angelo Rosin - Team Principal
“The German Formula 4 season started very well for us. Jüri is at the top of the drivers standings and, even if they haven’t stepped onto the podium yet, Juan and Marcus left a strong impression at Oschersleben. We are looking forward to the Lausitzring, where we want to highlight the performance of both drivers and cars.”
