Nurburgring - Race Preview
Prema knows no rest. One week after entering the seventh round of the FIA Formula 2 Championship and the sixth round of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship, the Italian squad is back in the hunt for Formula 4 success and will line-up its full-scale operation in round 5 of the German ADAC-promoted championship this weekend at Nürburgring. The renowned venue, flowing alongside the famed Nordschleife circuit, is welcoming Prema once again as the series leader in both drivers' and teams' standings.
Lining-up first and third in points respectively, Jüri Vips and Marcus Armstrong are set for another battle atop the charts as they have two wins each to their name in 2017.
The Estonian has a 7-point margin on his closest follower, while the New Zealander, supported by the Ferrari Driver Academy, has had an impressive run of form lately with two wins and five podium finishes in the last 6 races.

Currently 8th in points, American Juan Manuel Correa is looking forward to be on the podium again after a second place at Red Bull Ring. Qualifying for him will be key. Last but not least, Enzo Fittipaldi will be making his championship debut. Also a Ferrari Driver Academy supported racer, the Brazilian has entered the Italian Formula 4 Championship so far with positive results and will be at his first international experience of the season.
Angelo Rosin - Team Principal —
“We are lining-up at Nürburgring to continue showing the impressive advancements of the last few rounds. Jüri has managed to take the lead of the series and proved extremely competitive, while Marcus is making the most out of his first year in Formula 4 with the valuable support of the Ferrari Driver Academy and is now a top championship contender. On the other hand, Juan achieved less than he deserved and will need to be as focused as possible especially in qualifying as the official session has so much impact on the outcome of the whole weekend. I’m also excited for the debut of Enzo in the German series. He did well in Italy and I’m sure he will step up at international level too.”
